But respectfully, I disagree that they have to draw when you are not touching the tablet.
Yeah, I used old, wired tablets, too, around 2 decades ago, and CalComp, etc, none of which could touch Wacom’s quality. I pulled the point out a bit, then used the pen a little more gently, and the problem was fixed. The point was jammed too hard and too far into the pen. The pen should be able to pick the signal around 3/4 to 1" away. On my early *wired* tablets and same with puck. I don’t think folks here knows more than folks there, and just FYI that’s how *all* tablet works, not just Wacom but way way back around 2 decades ago Is the there a particular setting that is good for correcting this problem? I have tried pressure and Recall it happening also with CS1 and in PS 7.

I have tried the latest driver and also tried reverting back to the oldestĭriver still available at. The tablet, starting from about 1/4 inch away. Or that it writes before I have touched the pen to My Intuos (GD) tablet has served me well, but in the past year or so I haveįound an increasing problem with the pen continuing to write after I lift the pen from the tablet. This is really a Wacom question (and the problem occurs in other apps, including Paint), but I figure you folks here know Wacom tablets better thanĪnyone.
